In Business Central, the product group was removed from the item card and is now part of the item category. The transfer from a system with a product group to Business Central can be configured in the mapping. For this, we look at the finished configuration and then at the transfer and the result.

The main group of the Item Category table in Business Central is formed from the Item Category table of the legacy system (Indentation=0)

The subgroup of the Item Category table in Business Central is formed from the Product Group table of the legacy system (Indentation=1)
