The next generation of employees already works with generative AI such as ChatGPT. Copilot is also part of our own development environment and makes daily work considerably easier. The time we save through AI support goes directly to our customers. The same applies to the internal costs of an accountant or a tax advisor when less time has to be spent on recurring tasks. <br>Microsoft is working hard to bring Copilot, its AI assistance software, into the entire product range. Copilot is more than an integration of ChatGPT; it combines Microsoft 365 apps, Microsoft Graph, the users&#8217; own data and a large language model. Microsoft&#8217;s AI can be used in many ways and is already available with a number of preview features. You can either use a chat prompt &#8211; similar to ChatGPT &#8211; and give Copilot instructions in text form, or use ready-made functions that you open through a link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/ioitempold.dreamhosters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/6076bd39-5951-4328-a215-d994bdbb_6750.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Using a chat prompt with Copilot in Business Central<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tasks that individual employees have to complete in the ERP system today are varied and in part time-consuming. This is where Microsoft&#8217;s Copilot AI will bring a considerable gain in speed. One example is bank account reconciliation, where G\/L entries are matched with bank account ledger entries in order to apply received payments to invoices automatically.
